THE UP ON IN
Ryan Grayson played the electric guitars from 02/98-12/00. Charlie Bennett played the electric & upright basses from 02/98-12/00. I played the drum kit from 02/98-12/00. Jason Ian Moriber played the electric guitar from 02/98-05/98 & took good care of us until 12/00. We made one record under the loving & watchful aegis of J. Robbins. The record was released by Big Top Records & called 'Steps for the Light.' Contrary to some confusion at the time, it was not a New Age record. In the event that this misunderstanding requires remedy or that you're simply curious you can click on a title on the previous page to listen.

The image directly above was the home page of our original website. By clicking, as I recall, on the band's name, you were directed to a typical array of options: a list of upcoming & past shows, our top ten lists (which, naturally & as often as not, included more or less than ten items); there might have been photos but I can't remember. In any case, the site was maintained by Ethan Crenson, a first-rate video artist & curator in Brooklyn, NY. He & his wife Amanda were at that time & likely remain delighful people. Which goes to the point that the U.O.I. was at all times surrounded by supportive, enthusiastic, & wonderful friends & family. We were fortunate to have such a scene & are indebted to everyone who helped us out, gave us time, or put us up along the way.
